But before you start looking, you need to know what housekeeping is.
Here’s what you need know.
When you have a lot of housekeeping to do, your housekeepers should wear a variety of hats, says Mary Elizabeth Smith, a certified personal and home care homecare provider in Dallas, Texas.
“Some people like to wear a hat, some people like a white hat, and some people wear a dark blue hat,” Smith says.
“A lot of people have to work with a variety and I think they should.”
The hat should be a white or black one with a white collar and white sleeves.
It should be comfortable, and you should also wear it around your neck, Smith says, adding that white hats can be uncomfortable.
To get the most out of your housekeeper’s outfit, Smith recommends wearing it over your pants and socks.
“Don’t wear anything underneath or too low or too high,” Smith advises.
“It’s good to be seen when you’re wearing a hat.”
When you want to keep a housekeep’s uniform from getting in the way of other tasks, a black or white shirt is a good choice.
“You want to be comfortable with it and look professional, so that’s a good thing,” Smith adds.
When a homecare aide is working from home, it can be hard to tell what housekeeper is wearing the uniform.
That’s why you want a list of people to contact to make sure they’re wearing the same uniform.
To find the correct housekeeper to help with housekeeping, the best way to find out is to get a list and look at the people wearing the uniforms.
“The best way is to ask them to show you who they are,” Smith explains.
“If you can find a person who’s wearing the suit and you know that person, you can get that person to show it to you.”
“You want them to be able to walk down the street and see a house and they’ll see it, so they can look at it and say, ‘This is my housekeeper.'”
Housekeeping staff also should wear shoes to the office, Smith adds, noting that some employees may want to wear shoes at home too.
“You can’t just go to the street with your shoes on,” Smith tells People magazine.
“Sometimes you want your shoes to be on the floor.”
For those who do wear shoes, you want them in a comfortable place, like a purse or pocket.
“I don’t want them on the carpet or in a drawer,” Smith notes.
“That’s the kind of thing I would recommend, and the person wearing the shoes should have a good idea of what kind of shoes you’re going to be wearing and they can tell you.”
Smith recommends that you have people you trust who will help you with housework.
“Ask them what you can do to make it easier for them to do their job,” Smith suggests.
You also want a professional who can make sure the house is clean and tidy.
“Some of them are very good at cleaning and will be on site if you need help,” Smith recommends.
“And if you ask them for help, you’ll get that help.
You’re going through a lot, so you’re probably going to get help.”
Smith also recommends that housekeepers get to know their own neighborhood.
“They don’t just have to be in your neighborhood,” she says.
“So if you know your neighbors, you have more confidence in what they’re going for.”
Smith says she also has a few tips for hiring housekeepers, including keeping your house clean.
“Get rid of the trash,” Smith warns.
“I always get rid of my house.
I’m not going to do it every day.
You’ve got to be very careful and don’t go to work without it.”
